Christian Grey: Jack Boice, Anastasia Steele: Amber Petty, Bev/Katherine: Laura Yoder Witt, Taylor: Daniel Bentley, Jose: Tim murray, Elliot: Alec Varcas, Pam: Chloe Williamson, Carol: Melanie Brooks (understudy), Inner Goddess: Hana Freeman (understudy)

A surprisingly funny show which brought the house down. it's a very intimate theatre setting where the audience were very talkative and responsive (possibly because i have a feeling about half of them were drunk XD ) so that can get a little annoying at times but other than that, it's a great production and a great recording.

Great little regional theatre in Texas.  Produced as the "regional premiere."  Tiny theatre so there is a bit of overload.  I include a tracked version as well as an untracked version, because of this the file is quite big.  There was a Q&A after the show which I include but I'm afraid my recorder did not pick up much of the audiences questions and comments.  Enjoy!

Marisha is better than Amber. Yes Amber can sing higher, louder and arguably better than Marisha BUT Marisha gives a real depth to her characterisation that Amber doesn't.

Dreamgirls - London/England, October 20, 2017 - Evening

Amber Riley, Liisi LaFontaine, Joe Aaron Reid, Adam J Bernard, Joshua Liburd, Carly Mercedes Dyer (u/s Lorell)

Amber put on social media that she was feeling under the weather but you would never tell! I love Liisi in the role and have done every time I've seen this show, but she was particularly  vocally strong tonight. Love Carly as Lorell, the second time I've seen her - her diction is a little off putting but her characterisation is fabulous.

Clear recording from the second row; I dropped my phone about 10 minutes before the end of the show so there is a very brief clanking/dropping noise, but the rest of the recording is clear and uninterrupted. This is a beautiful and moving show. It was the third day of previews and already better than many shows running on Broadway; xcellent writing and performances all around.

This has a friend of mine in the ensemble so it was awesome to get to see this show.  I was apprehensive at the start but  all the projections and lights were fun to get to see and the tran station was awesome live!  The Sam and Oda Mae were perfect!  I didn't really feel for Katie's portray, it was just a little pitchy and flat.  I sat rather high up so the audio is a little muddy, but everything still can be made out.  A-

Also, there was a reporter giving news flashes, Herodes was played by a women, they had included "Then we are decided" (Dan is het besloten), some of the lyrics are different from the 2005 production and a lot more was different.... but so awesome as well!
